Hello, I know I suggest too many new features, but I noticed that it is very easy to respond to comments on the HubPages iPhone app. I have the comment right in front of me and have three choices underneath, "Deny," "Approve," and "Reply." I just click on "Approve," then "Reply" and I can thank them for their comment and answer questions without having to go to the hub itself.
On the computer (or website), I have to go to the actual hub before I can reply. Maybe we could add a reply option in "my account" where the choice to approve or deny is? Just a suggestion.
Depending on the settings of the comment capsule on the hub, if the comment goes through without having to be moderated by you, then you can reply by simply being on the Feed.
If the settings on the comment capsule are so you can moderate comments before approval, then you would have to first approve the comment. Once you approve the comment, load the Feed, instead of traveling to the hub and reply on the Feed.
I understand what you're saying.
Thanks, Cagsil. I moderate my comments 'cause I've been a victim of a few abusive comments.
Thanks for the helpful tips on how to reply easily. I will definitely do the "Approve" then go to feed method in the future.
I've been abused in some of the comments left on my hubs and that's why every hub that can have a comment left is moderated.
On another thought, just to let you know, you can also just travel to the hub and approve the comment from there and then leave a comment. It's understood that you moderate your comments and you can click on comments in "my account" section, but you don't necessarily have to approve the comment there.
Just another thought for you.
I would also like to be able to add the comment from my account - the moderation capsule. Sometimes I have numerous comments on several hubs and have to keep coming back to see which hubs I need to go to reply to. I know I can approve or deny right there but say 20 replies for 10 hubs is time consuming to keep going back and for for each reply.
Yay! They added this feature!!! I don't know if it was because of my suggestion or not, but I'm stoked!

If I view my account's Comments page, it's easy to view, approve and respond to unapproved comments. However, if I go to a new comment in one of my hubs and click Approve, I cannot reply to it directly on the comment. Instead, I have to go to my main Comments page and find the now approved comment...

For the last ten days I do not seem to be able to reply to the 12 comments that I have received on various posts. After having read an article and having left a comment, that does not seem to work either. I have mentioned this glitch on the hubpage Facebook pages and now again here. Please...

I tried to post this in the answers section-where I think the question should be-but I kept being told the question had already been asked by someone else-not true-and I couldn't post it. This is directed only to hubbers who tend to respond to all comments left on their hub, rather than never...

I am curious what you think about people that post links to their other sites (hubpages or others)?I have been getting lots of comments but that have links to my hubs, and it seems they are trying to promote their stuff on my pages. I am curious what you think about this and others as well....

When I post a comment to someone's hub including a question and they approve it, but do not answer the question, does that mean they have no manners? In your opinion.

Maybe I'm just not understanding something (which is entirely possible). Readers make comments and the authors have a choice to 'approve' or 'deny' the comments. And I like to reply to those that comment... fine; now this is my problem. I approve the comments made and then wait...
