Can you control what Google Ads appear on your hubs?

I was responding to comments on my hubs when I noticed an ad by Google being displayed for the company i use to work for. I have no want to bring them more clients or business in any way, knowing how they treat their customers and their employees. Is there a way to have Google not show a particular companies ads on our hubs, or are we basically stuck with what they decide to place on our articles?

H.C. Porter ads are displayed from both HP id and your id. You will manage to block them from your id but when it's HP ad time they will re-appear. So you get a 60% block rate.

The ads you are seeing aren't necessarily what anyone else sees anyway.  I wouldn't waste time worrying about it.
