I am making a photo gallery and wanted to make sure that by citing my images correctly from Flickr, I would not be violating the terms by having more than two links to Flickr. Of course these images are not from the same user, but I want to be sure before I publish it that I am not breaking any rules...Thank you (Mahalo) in advance for your help.
Be careful if you are linking to the same Flickr account repeatedly. Maddie Rudd once said that can make the moderators think you are promoting a singular account there.
Of course. Thank you, Relache. I will be sure to not do that.
Oops, excellent point.
If several of the photos are from the same photographer, don't put the links in the photo capsule.
Instead, I add a line at the end of my Hub saying "photos of the red dog, blue cat and yellow budgie by .... on Flickr" and put a link to the photographer's photostream there.
The Creative Commons License doesn't insist on a link directly on the photo, it just asks that you acknowledge the photographer, so a line in the text is fine.
