A new revenue generation for HP and publisher:
I recently came to know a new text link based revenue program infolinks, Is HP planning to add some other revenue generation for publisher like this? It can be a good way to generate revenue. As the ads are not annonying and can be easily be set up in articles.
Please suggest hubbers.
Kontera is the same as infolinks. It was a bust so I would imagine infolinks to also be a bust. I hate seeing those links in the text also and I am sure most readers would feel the same about them.
I would need more info to be order to submit an opinion. Could you explain who the publishers are and what kind of ads they run and any other info that might be helpful.
As mentioned above, text linked ads ran here for quite a long time. They didn't earn well and didn't look good, so they were phased out. I don't think anything has changed on that front.
I remember signing up with Kontera but it was phased out soon after I joined. My previous reply was written before Sir Dent so I didn't know what we were really talking about.
My answer would be no!
I asked this as I noticed many of the hubbers don't have adsense account.so it might help them.I tried infolinks and it gives me good result.
A FEW people who have hubs here have had their Adsense accounts banned. A few others have found it difficult to get an Adsense account.
I think though that the vast majority of people who are here in the hope to make some income from hubs have an Adsense account, as it is a key element to the process.
You actually got right ads? I tried it and it kept giving the same ads everywhere for a trip to the moon visit a certain bar kept it for a week then off it went

Hello,I just started here at HP recently, and so far I'm less than impressed with it overall. I have two other blogs, (one url I own, the other is a wordpress blog) and I wanted to use HP for content that doesn't really fit in at my other blogs. I'm about to delete my HP account and just start...

Have any of you found detestable ads on your hubs? It is a "game" with girls in bras...how distasteful I want it off my hub...do you know if we have a say in this? It has nothing to do with my poem and is disgusting to me.

I think it is related to images being used for the HUB ads and Google ads. When I turned off the Hub ads my adsense revenue rose significantly. I think it is because the block of adsense ads to the right of the column of text below the title returned to text based rather than image based. I think...

Some people have said they've turned off HP Ads and just use Adsense and actually make more money from Adsense. I'm considering trying that out and was curious how much more some of you are making just through Adsense. Fifty percent more? Twice as much? Triple? Quadruple?

I ask because I am currently experiencing yet another traffic surge. I've gone from 200+ views per day to in excess of 1600. Yet the income remains pretty darn poor.I've brought this up more than once and I have to say that it's very very puzzling. In every other platfrom that I write on (i.e. my...

Hopefully someone from Hubpages HQ can look into this.I believe that those of us that are using a hosted account with Adsense are not getting any ad revenue on impressions from the niche sites.I base this on the fact that my daily impressions on Hubpages vs Adsense differ by a factor of about 100....
