Stock Xchng seems to be my go-to site for photos, if I'm not using my own.
Some of those photographers ask for credit and for you to notify them where you're using the photo. If you sign up for a free account with that site, you'll be able to fill in the comment box at lower right to inform them where you've posted it.
Open Clip Art directory has public domain clip art, which is useful for some things.
On Flickr, go to Advanced Search and scroll down to limit searches to Creative Commons -- Commercial Use Allowed (check both boxes). Do this each time you start a new search, to make sure you're getting photos that have been licensed for reuse. Creative Commons means you can use the photo with a credit and a link back to the source.

Hello all, this might seem a stupid one but I still haven't figured it out yet. What is the score with applying photos to your hub, I mean can you just scroll the web and copy any photo you like?? I'm confused.... I understand the video aspect and that's cool embedded Url?? well...

Can anyone tell me some source to get free images for my Hub?I need some good wesbite where I can find reasonably good free images. From where you collect photos for your Hub. I ran out of sources.

I tried to get free images from some free photo sites. But they ask me to put source credit to site or to the profile of image owner.I can. But the problem is we can't link to outside domain for more than 2 times from our hub.My question is1. How to solve this problem?2. Where to get free images...

Where can I find a decent source of royalty free images?I have been searching for images to insert in a book that I'm currently writing but cannot find anything. I know of photo bucket but not sure if that license will cover my needs.

Hi, Hubbers.I have done some Googling to try to find sites that offer lots of free images for my hubs. I can't seem to find many at all. And the ones who do charge often have some good stuff but charge too much. I can find images out of my ears, but most of them appear to be copyrighted or offered...
