Hello fellow Hubbers! I am now 4 weeks and 17 hubs into my writing. I do receive a number of positive comments and think I'm doing well for being so new. I have, to my surprise, made money last month, (only pennies a day but still very good for a start)
Before I write anymore, I was hoping for a critique of my existing hubs so I can alter what needs fixing.
AND, my SEO, how do I increase that? Adsense, ebay, amazon have been active since the start. What else can I do?
The best thing to do is pick out just one hub for review. The experts don't have the time to go through all your hubs. Perhaps the iphone app for hubpages. You are allowed to do the bluey link thing in makeover forum.
I have the time but unfortunately I am no expert. You have written more hubs in 5 weeks than I have managed in 2 years. Best of luck.
Seanorjohn, thanks for explaining, and you are right about the importance of giving links to one or a few specific hubs.
Irene, put up one of your hubs for a makeover. You are a good writer and have a good hubber score. I am useless at giving seo advice etc but there are some great expert hubbers who will help you.
I think your iphone app hub could be the making of you. But what do I know! Good luck

Ok, I know this is in the FAQ section (yes, I've read it), and I know there have been numerous forum posts...but here is a new wrinkle...I wrote a Hub Mob article yesterday, and like most new hubs, it began down at a score of 50. No problem; I expected that. What did surprise me, however, that...

I joined Hubpgaes 5 days ago and spent some time learning from the best and have put together two separate hubs from my niche.Could you guys look through it and tell me if I'm on the right track and can start promoting or if I'm making some obvious errors. Thanks

Because the buttons are so small and so close together on the small iPhone screen, I have at least twice--that I know of--inadvertently flagged hubs or questions that I merely wanted to follow or unfollow. May I suggest moving them where users won't hit one instead of the other? I think it would...

I have noticed recently that a substantial number of my hubs have become un-featured due to low traffic. I can understand this for those few that have had no views in the last 30 days, however a few of them have had quite regular traffic, one in particular "My Friend the Oak" is one...

I'm really sort of laughing at myself. Between ebay and Adsense I brought in a whopping 69 cents. I guess that's not too bad for just really being here 2 weeks. But I was hoping for something a bit better!I guess it's a start!!!!
