I'm really sort of laughing at myself. Between ebay and Adsense I brought in a whopping 69 cents. I guess that's not too bad for just really being here 2 weeks. But I was hoping for something a bit better!

    I guess it's a start!!!! smile

The most I've made in one day was the equivalent of about $5.00 approx. I nearly fell off my chair.

I usually make pennies most days.

Good luck with the wealth accumulation ChuckHuckaby, keep going.

      All the best

I want to congratulate you. I haven't made anything but I'm always happy when others do well. Keep up the good work.

Yes... you're right about that...Just call me impatient.

I know that I need to build, evaluate, tweak and build more. That's always easier in theory than practice!

Looking at the big picture is always the way to go when it comes to hubpages.

Seeing 69 cents this early is really good, if you have no experience at all, it is even better.

I didn't start making dollars until the 2nd month, and I am still learning. This is a great thing to get involved in, for now and the future. good luck and stick with it.

You're right... the big picture is crucial. I told myself I was looking at the big picture but still was hoping for a bit faster action! I know I just have to keep building hubs with good keywords and content.

That's a good start!  Compared to what some people make it the first two weeks you should be reasonably happy.  Lot's of people have told me it takes a while to really get going on here, but it seems to be well worth sticking with it.

I agree.  You have to keep in mind that the price an ad pays is not a constant, so it is difficult to gauge what people make.  Someone could make $15 in a week, while someone else might make only $0.01.  They would both have only received 1 click, and the rest is just luck of the draw.  The good news is that this IS random, so your day could be just around the corner.  From what I've read, earning cash early on is the exception, not the rule.

    Chuck,
    Good start, I think.

Also remember that, with Google's new ways of tracking user behavior, you can never be sure what the viewer of your hub is seeing in the way of ads.

If the viewer has been researching a topic very heavily, they will continue to see ads for that topic showing up on hubs, and many other places on the web.  And it may be a high-paying ad that has nothing to do with your hub.  You may benefit if they click!

Congratulations!  I got ZERO earnings on my first month.  This is my second month and I just hit $10+ on Adsense and $8+ on Amazon. Yay!  So you are very lucky to see earnings just after two weeks. Congrats again!
