I'm really sort of laughing at myself. Between ebay and Adsense I brought in a whopping 69 cents. I guess that's not too bad for just really being here 2 weeks. But I was hoping for something a bit better!
I guess it's a start!!!!
The most I've made in one day was the equivalent of about $5.00 approx. I nearly fell off my chair.
I usually make pennies most days.
Good luck with the wealth accumulation ChuckHuckaby, keep going.
All the best
I want to congratulate you. I haven't made anything but I'm always happy when others do well. Keep up the good work.
hey, there you go! after two weeks, that's a start. enjoy. many start out with 1 cent!
Yes... you're right about that...Just call me impatient.
I know that I need to build, evaluate, tweak and build more. That's always easier in theory than practice!
Looking at the big picture is always the way to go when it comes to hubpages.
Seeing 69 cents this early is really good, if you have no experience at all, it is even better.
I didn't start making dollars until the 2nd month, and I am still learning. This is a great thing to get involved in, for now and the future. good luck and stick with it.
You're right... the big picture is crucial. I told myself I was looking at the big picture but still was hoping for a bit faster action! I know I just have to keep building hubs with good keywords and content.
You should DEFINITELY be proud of yourself! Best of luck in more money coming your way
Never give up !
That's a good start! Compared to what some people make it the first two weeks you should be reasonably happy. Lot's of people have told me it takes a while to really get going on here, but it seems to be well worth sticking with it.
I agree. You have to keep in mind that the price an ad pays is not a constant, so it is difficult to gauge what people make. Someone could make $15 in a week, while someone else might make only $0.01. They would both have only received 1 click, and the rest is just luck of the draw. The good news is that this IS random, so your day could be just around the corner. From what I've read, earning cash early on is the exception, not the rule.
Chuck,
Good start, I think.
Also remember that, with Google's new ways of tracking user behavior, you can never be sure what the viewer of your hub is seeing in the way of ads.
If the viewer has been researching a topic very heavily, they will continue to see ads for that topic showing up on hubs, and many other places on the web. And it may be a high-paying ad that has nothing to do with your hub. You may benefit if they click!
Congratulations! I got ZERO earnings on my first month. This is my second month and I just hit $10+ on Adsense and $8+ on Amazon. Yay! So you are very lucky to see earnings just after two weeks. Congrats again!
Yeh thats very good, Id be happy with that. I have been here for 8 days, have 9 hubs and have just 7c earned!
69 - I can Imagine what a good pleasure u got after seeing this... Ha hA hA lol!!!

I landed another writing job through HP yesterday! This guy stumbled upon some of my hubs and has hired me to write some articles for him. I'm already writing for several others who liked my hubs, and they're keeping me pretty busy. In fact, I might have to pass some of these new articles on to my...

Even with the lower CPMs these days, I was able to get another 100,000 views. I'm guessing that by this summer I ought to hit 6 million the way things are going. Since I've been doing so poorly on YT, this has really bolstered me. Thanks HP and thanks Hubbers!

Hit 1 million views today. These niche sites have been truly rewarding. Thanks to all the help and support from HP and you hubbers over the years!

Wow, I was surprised to see the number 99 smiling out at me this afternoon. Is 100 waiting in the wings? This was an unexpected surprise, because for the life of me I have not been able to 'crack' the code of 100. Most people say that it doesn't really make much difference what...

I have seen you at 99. Time and time again. I have suspected you of having a 100, but could not catch you in the act. Tonight there it was. And I was ready with my snipper tool at hand. Damn those elusive numbers. What do they mean and how do they know? I...

I lost my job about a week ago. I joined HP to make money but when I realized it was happening the way I thought, I just did it for fun. Now I am thinking that I am doing all this for nothing and now I ain't got a job. So the decision is to find a way to earn on HubPages.Tips any one?
