Do you use writing techniques while writing hubs or any other form of creative writing? What are some of the techniques that you swear by? What are your favorite techniques? Or are you one who believes that creative writing has to be spontaneous and any technique will just stall the process???
I plan everything I write exhaustively both in fiction and non-fiction to the point where I tend to spend more time planning than actually writing. The planning techniques that I use most often are freewriting (about the project I'm working on) and outlining. When I write fiction I tend to outline chapter by chapter or, with short fiction, scene by scene. Otherwise I get stuck and write myself into corners.
