I was trying to do searches for other writers in my state and couldn't get satisfactory results.
Is there a way to do this?
There is no way to do that at this time other than to use the existing search box and looking for hubs that mention a given state.
The good news is that we are planning an upgrade to our site search box in January. One of the features that we hope to add is an author search. I like your idea of making it possible for authors to find other authors in their state. If I can fit it in, I'll be glad to make it part of our upgrade.
I'll post here when we decide whether to include this feature or feature not in our upcoming author search.
