What Makes You Pull Over
When searching for something on the internet, the first thing most people do is type what they are looking for into a search engine. The next thing they do is browse from an overwhelming list of sites to find and select the best source (or sources) of items and information they are looking for.
Generally, the seeker looks for the basics: Who, What, Where, When, and Why. A good lens author will try to consider all basics when composing their lens.

If you are a new at constructing online web pages, consider your first two modules as the attention grabbers. When someone takes the time to visit a lens, often if the first two modules do not do not grab their attention by a striking graphic, title, or short paragraph. they may land for only a moment, then look elsewhere for the information they seek.

Have you ever been frustrated when searching the internet for information?
Looking For Love In All The Wrong Lenses
If you answered YES to any item on the above poll, you are not alone in your quest for real information. I know I can relate to your experience.
If I can't find information on the topic I am researching, it is a sure bet that no one else can find information about it, either. What good is an internet search engine if it produces benign search results?
One of the ways to correct the problem is by becoming a member of the online community and writing about topics you know about.
Lenses like many of those produced at Squdoo provide the internet with an alternative to dead links with credible, reliable sources.
It is always a pleasure to find truthful and relevant information on topics of interest. The best liked web pages of Squidoo are produced by real people who strive to make a real difference, and do.

Doing Time With Lenses I Like
From An Angel's Point Of View
If my attention is held through the first two modules, nine out of ten times I will take the time to read the lens from top to bottom. If the content is unique, and touches my heart, I will rate it. If it is outstanding, not only will I comment, but bless it. If it is even better than that, I bookmark the lens, share the lens link, and make it one of my favorites.
Special Note:

As the subtitle states, Squidoo does not like spam. In fact, if the Squid Detectives find a lens that violates the "Squid No-No's," the lens will be blocked by the Spam Filter.
Sometimes things slip through the cracks. When this happens, it is helpful to report a bad lens that meets only the following criteria:
(1) Published lens has less than 4 modules with two or more having zero (0) content.
(2) Published lens has garbled copy that is irrelevant to the lens title and topic of interest.
(3) Published lens has spam links to everything but the lens title or topic.
(4) Published lens has x rated material that is irrelevant to the lens title or topic.
(5) Published lens has material that has been plagiarized without credit to the proper source(s).
No matter where you go, if you find the information you seek, and it is exceptional, and it is helpful, let the author of the web page know how much you appreciate their being there. By taking a split second to rate a web page with a 'thumbs up, you help others seeking relevant information. If you like a Squidoo lens, press the 'like' button
