A Positive Look At Progress
Looking around at progress, as I analyzed it, I saw some ideas that I think are worth mentioning. I wrote an article titled "If Progress is..." and it is against some of the situations that brings discomfort to our land, environment and oneself. I want to be more positive and look at things with another filter. I will share in this article...a positive view of progress.
if progress is... to ride on a road where a sign says that it is protecting the environment, I should go through it to feel I am part of the ingenious technology.
If progress is... getting an envelope with the new printer ink to send the old cartridge; I will definitely buy that brand to be part of their recycling system which benefits our community and environment.
An encouraging road

Organizing waste
If progress is
If progress is... fancy garbage cans; to throw each waste where the label indicates. We can learn to do the same to save energy and participate in other contributions, in order to maintain the freshness of our land.
If progress is... a modern structure in the middle of a great rain forest like the one in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico. I will joyfully invite everyone I see to be part of the ecosystem that has been developed.
Bridges and...
If progress is... to be connected by a bridge to reach the other side; where the architecture does not impede the growth and flow of nature, let's be part of the structure making proper use of it.
If progress is... a land with furrows for planting; let's celebrate the responsible land owners, for their vision of survival and for their economical apportion.
Furrows for planting
Conclusion
Stephen Covey quoted: "When life does not go our way or we inadvertently make a mistake, it is so easy to make excuses, place blame on others, or argue that circumstances were against us. But we only progress in life to the extent that we take responsibility for our actions and attitudes, and put forth the initiative necessary to create our own circumstances."
Progress is about you and me. We are part of this world where the environment is being hurt. We are responsible to maintain its energy flowing fresh and clear, because that is our future, because this is our home.
Let's be part of the progress that is good for all!
Blessings to all!
