If Progress Is...
If progress is... putting new concrete where old concrete was. Let me stay with my antique structure and let's build another for those who don't have one.
If progress is...making war and dying in battle. Give me the peace of my motherland enjoying with my neighbor our lives with freedom.
If progress is… moving forward with technological development. Let me have my garage party and invite my friends to drink a cup of tea, chocolate, or coffee.
If progress is
If progress is... the destruction of planting fields to ride in traffic jams. I will walk my way, or ride it on a horse.
If progress is being exposed to cancer by mobile phones… Let’s meet at the park and start writing letters.
If progress is... killing creatures by taking away their habitats, then I will choose another place from all the free spaces available on earth.
If progress is
If progress is... industrialization damaging our lungs with smoke, let's breathe the free air and enjoy natural stuff.
If progress is... the cause of famine; let's have dinner from our lands. Let's start fertilizing the ground and spreading seeds.
If progress is... political lies, untruthful laws and white collar thieves, I will strike in front of the court house; and understand those staying home on Election Day.
Progress can be controlled
If progress is
If progress is... having to change who I am, I will go away with those that when I look at them, their physical appearance will reflect their own heart.
If progress is… making us believe that drug addiction is a health solution, let me use leaves, flowers, honey, roots and barks to prevent and heal pain.
If progress is... denying my Creator, Savior and Lord, I will be responsible for my acts of not being silent by telling everyone that God is our Creator, saved us from dying in sin and deserves our worship because He is our Lord.
If progress really is… moving forward as population moves us to the grave, let’s step back and live joyfully another faithful day.
Blessings to all!
