An Extraordinary horoscope-- Albert Einstein

Updated on May 8, 2011

Horoscope of Albert Einstein

The data available for Albert Einstein says, he was born at Ulm in Wurttenburg, Germany,

on March 14, 1879 at 12h 15m

According to Vedic astrology, his ascendant is Gemini whose ruler is Mercury.

The second house contains Ketu, Moon is debilitated in the 6th house.

Mars and Rahu reside in the 8th in the sign Capricorn. while Jupiter is in the 9th and Saturn alongwith Sun , Venus and Mercury are in the 10th house.

Lets have a look at the various placements that make this a horoscope above the ordinary.

Moon though debilitated in sign gets a very strong Neechbhanga or cancellation of debility due to its dispositor Mars being exalted. Mars and Moon therefore cause a Neechbhanga rajyoga.

Another Neechbhanga is caused by the combination of Mercury and Venus in the 10th house..

A strong parivartan yoga is formed by the interchange of the lords of the 10th and ninth i.e. Jupiter and Saturn.

Both 10th and ninth are related to proffession. and thus lead to world fame.

Jupiter also aspects the ascendant and the ascendant lord Mercury is placed in the 10th, thereby leading to a connection between the 9th, 10th , and 1st lords.

It is believed that he was poor in his studies especially math in the primary years. How is this reflected in his horoscope?

The first dasa at birth was that of the ascendant lord Mercury. Mercury is debilitated. The neechbhanga that Mercury has obtained is due to Venus. Therefore the good results of the neechbhanga raj yoga are to be felt in the dasa of Venus. We can thus say that his intelligence and recognition flowered in later life.

The exchange between Saturn and Jupiter led to great deal of recognition from the world. Many awards are existing even today in his name, instituted by many institutions.

It has been mentioned that his married life was not ideal. It is to be noted that the 2nd lord which signifies family, is debilitated. The chart is subject to a very strong manglik dosha. Also the placement of Rahu in the 8th house all point to difficulties in married/ family life.

The lord of the 7th house is Jupiter and Jupiter is placed in the 9th house. This placement is good as afr as The planetary effects are concerned but because Jupiter is in exchange with the 9th lord, its 10th house lordship takes precedence over the 7th house lordship. That is why Jupiter is more benign for the 10th house rather than for the 7th house.

Another reason for divorce is the placement of 7th and 1st lords in 'dwirdvadasha'.

Coming back to placements, it is observed that the rajyogas are mostly related to the 9th and the 10th houses. So the impact of these is on thename and fame of the native.
