Applying to Brown University

Updated on August 28, 2011

Brown University

Brown University

Brown University is located in Providence Rhode Island. It is an international school with students from each of the 50 states I the 50 states of America. It has excellent academic, athletic and graduate programs. Brown is known for its innovation, research and its coordination with other Ivy League Schools throughout New England. It has a high teacher to student ratio and very specific criteria for acceptance. As with all applications please complete the entire application and include everything and make certain the completed application is submitted before the deadline.

Like Johns Hopkins they too have a good organizational chart to let you know the exact deadline dates.

You may wish to spend your summer before your freshman year up at Brown’s Summer School so you are prepared for the rigorous academic curriculum at Brown.

In Conclusion

You should always apply to more than one school and this is especially true when it comes to applying to Ivy League Schools. And please try not to take acceptance or rejection too personally in these matters. But give that bit of advice I would also suggest you apply to Harvard, Yale, Columbia, Dartmouth, Johns Hopkins, Florida State University and University of Florida.
