Creating Change In Your Life Requires You To Take Action

Updated on December 22, 2012

Do You Need Change In Your Life?

How we live our lives today is different today than even just a few years ago. The failing economies of countries all over the world have forced many of us to take a magnified look at the way we are living our lives and make changes in order to survive. Although financial changes are the most common we are looking at making these days, they are not the only ones in life that we sometimes need to make.  The problem is that even though we know we need to make a change, we do nothing to make it happen.  Many of us live our lives feeling the changes taking place in the world around us will either not effect us or will create change for us.  What we should be doing instead is pursue a method of creating change so the change will be to our advantage.

In my community, I have seen and talked to many people who have been affected by the economy in such a way that their livelihoods are in jeopardy and their futures unsure. With such uncertainty always lurking in the shadows of your life, how could you not understand the importance of doing something to create a change?   Even in this type of economy, there are plenty of ways to create change in your life.  You could go back to school, get a part time job at a fast food restaurant, mow lawns on the weekends or even start working on the Internet.  But if you do nothing, nothing will change.

Some other people I know were compelled by the hopelessness of their situation to go back to church. The comfort they gained by re-committing their lives to God was life changing. They didn't even realize that the only reason their lives were different was because they did something so different from their normal lives. They created the change in their lives and were better off, if only for their outlook on life.

So my question to you is, what do you need to change in your life? Do you need more money, as many of us would like? Do you need a different job? Do you need to find love? Or perhaps you need to move to find new adventures or opportunities. Whatever you need to do in your life, one thing is for sure. Nothing will ever change in your life unless you take some kind of action to make it happen.

You can complain all you want about your financial situation, your job or your love life but unless you are willing to do something different than what you are doing now, you will never see anything change.

Do You Have The Potential To Achieve Greatness Or Is Something Holding You Back?

Did you know that some people actually have built in subconscious mechanisms that sabotage their conscious efforts to be successful? I know that may sound weird but think about it for a second. Why are some people more successful than others? Are they just luckier, smarter or were they just in the right place at the right time? That may be the case some of the time but I think there is plenty of evidence that proves something to the contrary.

Successful people often prove that it's not luck or education that define their level of success. The one common thread that all successful people have is that they know how to overcome obstacles that get in their way of being successful. They don't take failures lying down, they get up and fight for what they know should be theirs. There is no self sabotage, only a relentless pursuit of success.

Below is a list of the most common obstacles that prevent you from being as successful as you want to be. See if any describe you...

  1. Lack of Clear Direction
  2. Inability to Control Your Thinking
  3. Do Not Have Blueprint For Success
  4. Tend to Have Negative Behaviors
  5. Lack of Understanding (particularly the law of attraction)
  6. Lack of Motivation
  7. No Self Belief

If any one or more of these describes you, you could be dealing with an issue where your subconscious is actually blocking you from being as successful as you know you can be.

The good news is that there is a way you can learn how to overcome all of these obstacles and more. I'll save you the sales pitch and just give you the website address so you can check it out for yourself.

Before I do though, let me just say that I truly believe our minds control more than just our physical actions. If you have read my article this far, I think you believe it too. So please don't blow off this opportunity that could change your life forever just because you are skeptical. Click the link below and look at the offer for yourself. It doesn't cost you anything to look and at least you will never what it was. Thank You.

Due to Hub Pages restrictions on what you can promote, I am no longer able to post the link to a very good self help product that could assist you in the kinds of changes you need to make in your life. If you are interested in obtaining a copy of this product, please send me a message through my author link and I'll redirect you where you can take a closer look.

Don't Risk Success From Fear Of Failure

As a person who hates change, it has been especially difficult for me to admit that changes needed to be made at various times in my life. I have procrastinated about making important decisions about going to school, my career choice and even in my finances so I wouldn't have to change my comfortable life. What I figured out much later in life was that my procrastination actually stemmed from a fear of failing. My actions told the world that I would rather leave things the way they were instead of making a change that could possibly be the wrong one. As a result of my fear of change, I spent many years working two and three jobs sometimes to survive and still struggled financially.

So from one person who has had to create change to another, please do not risk the chance of succeeding from fear of failing. It has been said a million times before but it bears repeating, it's never too late to start. Your life is not pre-determined and failure is only a way to learn how to do things right.  So get on with it, go find success in whatever you desire.  It's all in your hands, whether you believe it or not.

This is an article that will give a lift or a push to many readers to have the courage to embrace change, even if its a small one.

BTW, I ordered "Change Your Brain, Change Your Life" by clicking on your Amazon link, hope you get a commision. :) I took a peek at the author's pages in Amazon, and he has an engaging writing style. I am into exploring the brain's potential for enhancing our lives (without it being too overly technical or else I fall asleep!). Thanks for writing this hub and for the links on the books. I was thrilled when I saw the link as I read a similar book by Joe Dispenza, but wanted more on the subject.

      Thumbs up!
