Ancient Visitors

Have we been visited by Aliens. This is a question that has been asked over and over again.

There are stories, going back thousands of years, about alien visits. I am sure you have heard of the connections made between the ancient Eygptions and Aliens. Also those of the Maya. We have seen artifacts, from both Eygpt and the Columbia, Ecuador region, that look like flying machines. Engineers even made exact models of these, to discover that they actually are aeronautically sound and could fly.

Erich von Daniken writes in his book Chariots of the Gods, that in the Old Testament of the Bible, Book of Ezekiel, there is a possible discription of a spaceship landing and aliens stepping out.

Flying machines are also often mentioned in Hindu scripts.

Here, however, I would like to look at a couple of less famous clues to the question. Firstly I would like to mention the Dogon people of Mali, Africa, south of Nigeria. These people believe that in their past, their ancestors were paid a visit by an alien being. This alien was half man and half fish and liked to stay not too far from water. He explained to them, that he came from a watery planet in the Sirius System. He also is supposed to of told them that his planet had three suns. These stories have been shunned by sceptics, who say they could of heard such things from an earlier visit by europeans.

My problem with this is, that although astronomers have, for many years thought Sirius to be a binary star system, it is only recently, with far better telescopes, that they have discovered that Sirius is a Tri star system. How did the Dogon know this before our astronomers.

Secondly, I would like to mention the ancient Sumerian people. From ancient Sumerian texts translated by Zecharia Sitchin, The Sumerians believed that their Gods, the Annunaki, were from a planet called Nibiru. The Annunaki told of their planet being in our solar system but unlike other planets in the system it has an elliptical orbit and moves clockwise instead of anti clockwise. They said that because of its elliptical orbit, it took 3600years to orbit the sun. They said that on one of its previous orbits it had collided with and destroyed another planet that had been in our solar system, that planet now made up the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter.

The last time Nibiru passed through our solar system it is supposed to of been the cause of the great flood of Noah fame.

Scientists say that there is no proof that the the asteroid belt was caused by the destruction of a planet. My problem here is, how did the Sumerians know of the asteroid belt.

This could all be proved true or false soon, as it has been estimated that Nibiru, if it exists, will pass through the orbits of Earth and Mars in 2013. [Too close to 21 Dec.2012 for my liking].

These are just a sample of the stories that span our planet, from Japan, India, The Middle East, Africa, South America and lets not forget Easter Island.

Most of these stories are believed to be merely myths and some have been proven to be just that. However, there are that many stories and it would only need for one to be based on fact, for it to mean that we have been visited by aliens at some time. I therefore believe that the answer to the question is yes, we have been visited by aliens.
