How To Feel Good

Raise Your Energy Level

Some days we feel so down in the dumps and can’t understand why. We try to get out of it and sometimes we are successful and at other times not. That’s because we are pure energy and we pick up whatever is in our environment. That good friend that just called you with bad news is a good example.

We vibrate like that cell phone or radio station that we listen to. We pick up or capture what’s out there. You lowered your good vibes and took on the “bad”.

The object is to keep your “good vibes”, to be able to keep your peace even though you are constantly being bombarded.

When we are in the flow our lives flow easily and without effort. When we are out of the flow it feels as if we are swimming against the current. A constant effort to make things work saps our energy and brings on stress.

Music Will Help You To Feel Good

Allowing

Allowing is the key to getting back in the flow of life. You’ve heard of the law of attraction? What you think about and feel is what you attract. Allow the Universe (GOD) to provide all that you’ve been asking for. I can hear the grumbles now asking what is she talking about? I don’t profess to have it all worked out or to understand it all. I stumble and fall often. Today, one step forward and three steps back.

I do know that the times that I was allowing, the doors seemed to magically open and provide what I needed. I’m always getting what I need not necessarily what I desire. There’s usually a problem with those two words, want and need. Truth be told, we all want and as long as we are here, will keep on wanting stuff.

So how do we do this allowing thing? Allowing is just another way of saying that you're feeling good. Think of something that makes you feel good. Hmm, knew you’d go there. Let’s think about simple things, for example a tall glass of lemonade or water on a hot day, a smile from a friend or petting your dog/cat. You get the idea.

The act of thinking of the above examples made you feel good. When you feel good you are allowing. The more that you move away from resistance to thoughts that make you feel good the closer you get to Source Energy/GOD/Universe/Jah, or whatever you call it.

Ways to connect to Source Energy are plentiful. We can consider walking, gardening, jogging, driving and bird watching forms of meditations because it gets us out of our mind and worries and allows us to raise our vibration.

Alternative music such as African drumming or sounds of nature and yoga are also wonderful ways to get back to feeling good. Remember, the whole idea is to feel good more and more until it is a learned way of living.
