Miracles can happen

Updated on March 05, 2011

I wake up each morning and wonder when will I be able to call in work and say, " I am not coming in today, 'cause I don't feel like it." I cannot say the truth, 'cause I need my pay-check and with my job I need health insurance to keep me going.

I wish I had enough funds to tell my boss that he is a rude, obnoxious creature and I do not like him. But, instead I have to laugh at his jokes and be nice to him. Am sure all of us sail in the same kind of boat. We have a strong dis-like for something or the other. We always wish that the thing we dislike the most would not exist. Well, my friend MIRACLES can happen. It's all about our mind getting hooked onto something and voila, it's all done. However, I wish it would be as simple as saying voila but, eventually we could get to it. It definitely takes courage to admit what we want and how we want for we don't want to annoy the second person. But again, it's our mind, once it is set on something then we need not worry on the consequences and stand on our stance.

Miracles happen to only those who dare. Miracles happen to only those who dream and who want to succeed even if there is a storm in the ocean. The determination and will power makes miracles happen. So, come to think of it; Miracles don't JUST happen. But, Miracles happen when we set our mind, our personality and our goals into one bottle and cap it. That capped bottle is to be well looked after. It should be shaken and stirred occasionally to keep our goals refreshed so that in the hustle bustle of life we don't forget what we really want. And yes, eventually this so called Miracle happens and we are so happy that we shout out to the world that YES, MIRACLES CAN HAPPEN. Not to mention that this has happened 'cause of our hard work.

      Hello Neeleshkulkarni,

Well said, my friend. It is our mindset which can negate things around us. Miracles is a mind set and if belief in oneself; miracles happen each moment of our life.

Wishing you peace and prosperity this season and may your business flourish.

      Happy Diwali :)

You use such beautiful metaphores and figurative language in your writing. I especially liked: "Am sure all of us sail in the same kind of boat. " I had my share of bosses who were boils on the butt of humanity! Sympathies!! Voted up.
