Natural bounties through my lens – memories of Darjeeling

We just returned from a family vacation trip from Darjeeling. I have already compiled a travel hub on that. This hub is specifically aimed to showcase the amazing natural beauties of Darjeeling and my novice attempt to capture the wonders of nature through my digicam. It’s a photo hub to present whatever I could snapshot in the awesome natural abundance scattered across the “Queen of the hills”. The scenery, the birds and the flowers are all captured naturally from the terrace of the hotel we stayed and the windows of the car we traveled. So here we go for a visual treat of the beautiful Darjeeling. Please bear with my photography attempts as this is pure of beginner category and a result of my utter interest only.

First let me start with the beautiful sky of Darjeeling. I always tend to get lost in the vastness of the sky and the Darjeeling sky have almost get me lost for eternity. The beauty is beyond words and thus I had to rely on my Camera to capture the natural abundance at the best as much as I could manage. The amazing hide and seek of the Sun amidst the fleeting cloud of Darjeeling and its an unstoppable WOWWWWWW for me. Literally I had to stop my breathe to click the moments as much as my fingers could press the Camera button and my viewfinder could get a clear focus. So let us take a visual trip here.............!!!!!!!

Then I was utterly bewildered with the gorgeous landscape of Darjeeling. The cloud touch you almost all the time and the misty air is very much magical around Darjeeling. The walks were so much nostalgic and one feels as if a kind of wetness envelopes us all the time. Many time i just felt like I could catch the mist in my hand and feel a handful of cloud for some moments.....its pure magical for sure. So let me take you for a outing through the lens of my digicam around the magnificent natural beauty of Darjeeling.

The roads always tend to take me from somewhere to nowhere and then its always a bohemian feel to cherish. The people on the road on the go tend to be so familiar and a kind of link I do tend to feel may be for the reason that we all have not yet reached our destinations yet. The journey is ongoing and the roads are sometimes more comfortable then the destination itself. The views both the sides of roads are always hold much more meaning for me without any meaning may be actually. And here are some of the glimpses i could capture through my lens .....in the roads of Darjeeling :-

Birds are always something that captures my attention. Earlier I just used to enjoy and love them. But soon after I have started reading one of my friend Deb Hirt's (You can find all her wonderful hubs @ http://aviannovice.hubpages.com/ .....she is an avid bird watcher and a very profound writer mainly on birds ) i have become truly interested in birds around me and in their amazing natures. But unfortunately I could only capture some photos of beautiful pigeons which were visible through the window of our hotel room. They were enjoying the Sun above a house that time , at least that's what I thought. .......!!!!!!!!!!!!

The tall trees....happily blooming flowers.....even the amazingly beautiful grasses are all that captured my mind to the ultimate depth of it. The climate of Darjeeling is simply so favorable for the ecosystem that all the plants and animal life seem to be enjoying the growth and prosperity to no limit. The tall trees are always happy in the cuddle of the misty cloud and the height of the evergreen trees seem to kiss the sky eternally. The multicolored flowers dance in the air and spread the amazing creation of HIS love all around Darjeeling. The road side flowers without any care were blooming with royal beauty to create a heaven there. These are the snapshots i have taken through the Darjeeling trip:-
