Phillips Exeter

Exeter is a private co-educational residential school (boarding school) serving approximately 1000 international students on a sliding fee scale in grades 9-12. Like Yale this school utilizes the Harkness educational program which encourages students to think, discuss, question and analyze their world as well as they develop a life time love of learning. Successful graduates from Exeter usually attend prestigious academic institutions like Harvard, Yale, Columbia and Dartmouth.

This residental school has a staffing ration of 5:1 and teachers closely supervise academic achievement while students enjoy the campus of Exeter in Exeter, New Hampshire.

As will all academic institutions I defer to the School's website to give you more precise information about Exeter.

A few rotten apples can spoil the bunch. I grew up with a crowd very similar to the Exeter crowd but overseas and while there are always a few bad examples the entire philosopshy behind Exeter and schools like it is a life of Public Service.

Besides Exeter traditions are staples but they are changing adn even accept students on a sliding scale now.

I grew up in Exeter and attended the high school. I can vouch for many that a lot of the students through the years have not been well liked. There have been many rude encounters and problems with students who ignore cars while crossing the street, resulting in dangerous situations. I'm so glad my parents didn't shell out thousands for me in order to go to an exclusive and well known college.
