Rumors and Bullying

Updated on March 23, 2015

Bullying has become a serious issue. Now there is cyberbullying. Bullying can be caused by rumors.

Some people when they do not like someone just cannot seem to leave someone alone. They start rumors and turn everyone against that one person. They think it is fun hurting someone and sometimes they go to far.

Bullying is not fun. Starting rumors and making someone upset and giving someone a bad reputation is not fun. If you are the one who is doing it how would you like it if it was done to you? If you are the one who is the victim hold on because there will be people out there who will accept you.

If you know someone who is a victim of bullying try befriending them. Get to know them and help them through this time. Stick by their side because you do not know what is going on in their life. You do not know how they are feeling inside. A victim of bullying needs someone in their life who will make them feel as if everything is going to be okay.

If you are in high school or college just keep telling yourself it will soon be all over. Do not let them ruin your future. That is what bullies want. Bullies want to bring someone down just to feel good. They are unhappy with their life and think that by bringing someone else down they will feel better. It does not change the fact of who they are or what is going on in their life. Bullying is a serious matter and it should be stopped.

Do not take it or keep it all in. Tell someone and if it is done online report it. Do not let them get away with it. The way they do this to you they will do it to someone else. They are a bully and they are having fun by making someone else's life a mess. That is what bullies do and it is not right. Do not let it get out of hand.

If you hear a rumor about someone do not believe it. Do not turn against someone just because you heard something about someone. You do not know what is going on in someone's life and just because someone tells you something does not make it true.

Talk to someone about it and get help. Bullying has an effect on people. Get your feelings out and ask someone what they would do if they were in your shoes. Talk to someone who will give you the help that you need to deal with this.

Putting photos or bad mouthing someone on the internet is a serious crime. It could end up in people getting arrested and it could ruin your future. You could end up in jail and all of your dreams going down the drain just because you are thinking that you are having fun. So think twice before you want to torture someone online.

Do not start rumors about someone. Do not turn people against them or do things that could make them depressed. You do not have to like everyone but just because you do not like someone does not mean that you have to hurt them.

Just because they say things about you does not make it right. Do not go around thinking you are unlovable just how they are treating you. You have good qualaties and the right people will see it in life.

Put your energy on something you love. Destress and find a hobby. It will take your mind off of what you are going through.

Have faith that this will pass. Being bullied has an effect on faith and it could shake your trust in people. Just because these people are hurting you does not mean that everyone in the world will. There are good people out there.

Once again if you witness a situation of bullying tell someone or put a stop to it. If you are the one being bullied tell someone and no matter what try to hold your hear up high. Do not let them win.If you are the one being bullied stop because it could end in serious consequences. You are messing with someone's head and bullying is a form of harrasment. So if you do not want to end up in a jail cell leave someone alone.

"If you judge people you have no time to love them," Mother Theresa
