Significance of English in today’s World

English is an International language and is used in maximum countries. It is used as an official language even in India. English is the only language which truly links the whole world together. All the encyclopedia’s, literature is available in english. It is a universal language. Not only this when people travel to different countries where different languages are spoken english is common language to express views and deal with situations. In India where diversity in culture, language is seen. It is mean of communication to handle language barrier problem and also it bridges the gap which is thus created due to the language.

English is an important language as it is used in Teaching-Learning process. The people those who go to study from Non-English speaking country to Western Country the only mode of instruction is english. Not only this all the correspondence and official writings are in english and it acts as a linking factor. For the users who use Internet , English is the main language of communication as all the information is available in it. All new things are in English as E-commerce etc. So English as language is bound to grow and develop at every stage. It is a well secured and highly spoken language in the World.

English as a language enjoy maximum dominance on other languages. In western countries english is used as first language but in some countries it is taught as second language in the school. It makes it widespread across globe and also because of its existence in the world of Science and technology it is adapted on fast speed. It is thus language of modern times.

One of the main reason of English being used as important language is due to its demand in the modern life. Such reasons motivate them to learn and grow with it. It is a language of universities, Institutions, Tour and travel. In most jobs and business organizations it is mandatory requirement to know how to speak English.

English language is the language of trade between different Countries. It is paramount to know English as it is necessity.

It is evident that english is necessity of time and society. English has also become easy to be learnt due to availability of books, Websites, Resources, Teachers Etc. Learning it is fun loving and enjoyable if it is done from right source.

There is lot more to be written on this topic but I need to work and study more before I can express my views on it . I would highly appreciate if everyone who read it can send me few suggestions about the topic.
