The Mind is Powerful

"The mind is a terrible thing to waste." We have heard this quote before many times, we also heard the saying "Knowledge is power" but have we ever thought about the power of the mind. There are times in your life that you may have driven home and don't remember how you got there. There are times where you have started singing a song that you wondered why did you start doing that, you weren't thinking about that song. Everything you do and everything you have experienced has been recorded in your subconscious mind but when we are conscience we are aware of our surroundings and what we are doing, its when we are not thinking our subconscious mind takes over. It sounds strange but Bob Proctor said it best our conscience minds are the captain, our subconscious minds are the stewards and shipmates, and our heart is what causes our body to process the minds request. The mind is powerful, its the most aggressive super computer that ever existed. If we can harness that power for what it is capable of there is nothing that is impossible.

Have you ever had a strong passionate thought about something? Was the feeling behind that thought was so intense you researched, cut out pictures of it, thought about it already in your life or in your presence and you told others about it as though you already possessed it? The strong love and desire behind "The Secret" is what is called "The Power" which means that love is the power and the secret is living with love not only for what you want but for others as well. You should be grateful for all things in your life that has happened. That may seem contradictory to a lot of your beliefs but if you think about it very carefully all the things your life up to this point has contribute some way shape or form to who you are today. If you experienced a broken heart then you know to guard your feelings and also learned what you want and need to be loved. Yes, of course you could have done without the pain however, the experience has added value to who you are and to how you treat others. On the Oprah Winfrey show she had "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrne and Lisa Nichols was one of the people in the movie and the book she stated that in order to receive love you have to know how to love yourself and if you are a Christian or ever read the Bible, Jesus did state "Love your neighbor as yourself" and we all know the golden rule "Do unto others and you would like them to do unto you". Ms. Nichols also stated "if you love yourself first you can teach others how to love you and if you show that love to others you will receive that love in return." The Power is to leave negative things where they should be thrown away in the garbage, not saying negative things do not happen, but just like most mothers say "If you don't have anything good to say don't say anything at all." If you want money, love, peace, good health etc... imagine yourself already having those things, draw them to you by using love, be grateful for what you already have and leave anything you don't want to come to you by not giving any attention to it.

This is simply put in order to get what you want or attract what you want into your life you will need to nurture it as though it was your's already. The Bible says it this way "Be a cheerful giver"; "give to others and you will receive": "You will reap what you sow"; and "ask and you will receive." These are important lessons we learn as children, but when we grow up we become selfish and removed from others. If someone at work receives a position that you want that position could have been moved out of your way for something better. Always celebrate others rewards in that way your reward has also been celebrated. The law of attraction is beautiful and wonderful it means that if we show intense love to others without a negative motive but true loving kindness that same intense loving kindness will be show or given to you. Think about if we show love, there would be no wars, if we show love there will be no disagreements, if we show love there will be no murders, thieves, or hurtful intent. Yes, there are things that happen to us daily that may be negative in nature, however, if you show love regardless, you will get love given to you. Please take the time to read or listen to "The Secret" and "The Power" and understand that the meaning is basically if you want to be treated well, if you want to have money, if you want to have a job, if you want anything "With Love (God is love) everything good is possible" You shall have it.
