Changes come

Technology has become even more apart of everyone's lives over the past 20 years. We have seen data becoming more and more important to us as times goes on. When it was almost unheard of growing up of what we call the internet. The internet was something of the scifi movies we would watch on the big screen. Just saying the word Goggle would have never been apart of a common conversation in the past. We went from having phones like the TV show Saved By The Bell (see fig.1) to a smart phone. Even writing this I'm using my note 4 smart phone. I can just about do any word processing on my phone just as easy as my PC can. Growing up for me computers were not as common. And now it seems everyone and their grandmas have one! No more are the days of carrying around a CD player and trying to listen to it while keeping it from skipping. We now have mp3 files that carry over to smart phones. On top fo that we have online streaming music if you want to just not worry about the storage on your device.

The difference between then and now.

When I was growing up we had encyclopedias not wikipedia. Now days you have access to anything you want to learn. The internet is growing daily. Youtube now has just about any learning video you would want to learn. Making your own movies are now easier since most cell phones record in HD resolution. When back in the day we had to carry around a big camcorder that recorded to VHS. All of this and this generation still doesn't see it. They have it all at their finger tips. You can now talk or chat with people all over the world. Connected from one side of the world to the other. This is good because it brings people closer together. Opinions are now being projected out into the world. Before no one really knew what others where thinking. But with the growth of social networks we can see what people think and feel. If we didnt know how to do something we had to do it the hard way back then. Trial and error or asking someone who knew what they where doing.

Showing the younger generation how to use this knowledge.

Given how we've come so far in such a short time. We need to show the younger generation how to harness this knowledge. This generation has always had this technology around. So they take for granted whats right in front of them. Instead of using the social networks to just find out about what someones eating. I wish more people shared more informative things on social networks. But it only seems like a select few are looking to grow and learn. I look around and see so much potential but no one taking advantage of it. And when this happens you will see more come from our internet. Movies will be created on youtube and actually beating out the theaters because someone pushed the limits. Back growing up we only had digital cameras that pushed only 1 Mega pixel. My smart phone now can do 18 Mega pixels. Pretty big jump from 1 to 18. That how fast things are moving. And if we can get the younger generations to see whats right in front of them. We will then be able to move on to becoming Highly Evolved Beings. Moving to a higher level of being. Such a change would bring our earth to the next level.

The point I'm trying to make.

Use this knowledge to grow is what I'm getting at. There are so many how to videos now on Youtube. I usually add in my search DIY, that stands for Do it yourself. I have even come to start using Pinterest to start learning new things and ideas. To become better and teach others in the end what you have learned is what will make this planet a better one. One other thing I forgot to mention is you can also download books that will fit on your phone now. Kindle is a great app that I highly recommend downloading. Try reading a little each day, even if it's just a few pages.

"Just like a car your mind needs fuel to keep it going."

Make it a goal this year to read more. Search more productive videos online. And to teach others what you have learned.

The chance to make a better world.

We are given a chance to get our younger generation on their feet. To make a better place to live and learn from each other. Things haven't been easy for most people out there. The struggle is real to survive. A fool learns from his own mistakes and a wise man learns from the mistakes of others. In that saying we have a chance to reach out to the world and learn from it. Maybe then we can get the economy right and get a cleaner planet moving away from fossil fuels. In no way is this a bash on the current generation. The internet is still so new and we are all learning what it could be. Even now as your reading this Hubpage, I would have never dreamed of writing and reaching out to so many people at once. It's another form of me reaching out to the world trying to make it better. I hope you too will reach out to the world and make it a better place.
