Where is Our Home?

Family Tree of Human Evolution

But Where are the Roots?

Humans

It is sometimes said that the evolution of humans is perplexing.

One of the reasons for this is that we, out of all the known species living on the surface of our planet, are the only ones that have not evolved in such a way as to protect us from the natural elements. Man is the only species that does not have either thick hide, fur, feathers or scales, any of which protect their owners from the elements.

It would seem strange that as we evolved on the planet’s surface, protection to the elements did not evolve with us as it did in other species.

We are the only ones that need artificial shelters or garments to protect us from supposedly our own environment.

Some say that this must be clear evidence that we do not belong here or at least did not evolve here.

Others say that our protection is our intelligence and that we did not evolve protective covering because we had the ability to make an artificial one. This though, does not really stand up. In evolutionary terms, we only acquired technology very recently and so would not yet have really played a role in our evolution.

Aliens

This has led to some believing in an ancient alien theory.

This is a theory that somewhere in our ancient past, aliens visited the Earth.

From this main theory, stem several different theories. One being that the aliens messed with our DNA, interrupting our own natural evolvement. Another theory is that we are perhaps “a blended mix”, the result of inter breeding between our ancestors and the aliens. Lastly there is the theory that, we ourselves are the aliens, meaning that we did not evolve on this planet, just settled here later.

The theorists say that in support of their view of a visit by aliens, are some of the archeological finds we have made such as the Pyramids or Stonehenge. They say that this displays that our ancestors possessed or, at least had access to, technology unknown to us today.

None of these theorists can however, prove their beliefs. There again though, the non-believers can not prove these theories wrong.

Mother Earth

Perhaps there is another possibility.

Over the last few decades, many underground caverns have been found. Many of these caverns appear to have, at some time, had humans living in them.

There have also been many deserted underground cities found.

No plausible theories have been put forward as to who actually lived in these underground dwellings.

Yes, some have said that perhaps during times of extreme conditions on the planet surface, civilizations moved underground for protection. They say that these conditions could either be man made, perhaps wars, or could have been natural disasters. All this though is conjectures or guesses, nothing has yet been proved.

What if though, the reality was the opposite of that which the scientists propose?

What if humans evolved under the ground and then in some time during their development, they migrated to the surface.

This could explain the apparent abnormality of their evolution without the need of an alien visitation.

What if two species evolved at the same time, one on the surface and one beneath ground?

On meeting there was either a war or interbreeding, perhaps both. The devastation from a war could explain the loss of technologies.

With new archeological finds being made nearly every year, will we soon finally learn the truth of our origins and history?

Will we, one day be able to say with absolute certainty, that this is our home?
