   The Amazon rainforest located in South America also known as the Amazonia is the biggest rainforest of the world covering seven million square kilometres and nine countries of the world namely Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia, Guyana, Suriname and French Guiana.    The Amazon is where the largest rain forest is located, but it too is in grave danger, with deforestation and cutting down all species of trees. This destroys native wild life and upsets the balance of the biological echo system and puts all of our lives in grave danger. It may seem that this rain forest is huge, yet, it is decreasing in size as we speak and animals and plants are being destroyed, never to feel the sun's warmth again on this planet.

   The actual tropical rain forests are situated round the equator. Most of the tropical rain forests are generally found in the Central as well as South America, the african continent, the indian subcontinent, South east Asia and also areas of Indonesia and also Australia.
