I've experimented with electrolytic production and have now turned to metallic decomposition, partly due to the availability of aluminum scrap at my shop. The challenge being safety due in part to a lack of appropriate equipment.(5 gal. buckets and rubber bladders pilfered from old nitrogen canisters on a few of our die-cast machines). Understanding limitations due to losses incurred via conservation, I'm wondering if the application of mechanical leverage could potentially overcome thermodynamic reality?
