There are many very good websites with great interventions and ideas which can help make school a less stressful and more manageable experience for those with dyslexia.
This hub helps clarify the nature of dyslexia, describes some of the theories about what causes dyslexia and provides suggestions and links which can be used by parents, friends and teachers to help children struggling with this disorder. read more

Unschooling works the same with any kids, and dyslexia wouldn't be an issue at all if you were unschooling.

Each child learns to read and write in his own way, and the less pressure and strife, the easier!
