why is female students academic performance is low compared to males in the university?
In the Netherlands there are more women in university than men. In fact, some people have started saying that men should be given positive discrimination because schools are so much better fitted to the female mind! Weirdly enough this is being proposed (though not acted on) when men are still easily outranking women in leadership positions in The Netherlands.
Even today, in the supposedly "liberated" western nations, most women are taking fluff courses. Most guys know that they will have to study something potentially remunerative to try to make a good living. The females are just there to get married. If they don't, they just get a clerk or teaching job until they get married. Then some of the women, years later, decide to get their acts together.
