what can you gain by trying to let go of trying to control others?
You can gain contentment with yourself and others. You can also obtain peace of mind. Controlling others only makes one lose their identity and they become damaged because they are trying to live more than one life. It's just not healthy to do it.
If you are trying to control others, it is most likely because you feel you are lacking control of yourself. You need to figure out why you are so controling, this way you will not feel the need to control others.
Trying to control others can be exsuating and frustrating. you will gain peace of mind accpeting that you can not control what others do you will gain humilty.
Quite frankly peace of mind, control your life and let others control theres. Offer advice and guidance when you think it will help someone but don't try to control them it will only drive them away from you or make things tense between you
people who are always controlling others, usually have little self-control; by concerning ourselves with our own behaviour we start to learn self-control.
