Albert Einstein discovered the mathematical relationship between ?

Mathematical relationship between matter and energy E mc2. According to Einstein, E=mc^2. That is, energy equals mass times the speed off light squared.In laymen's terms, the amount of energy in an amount of mass is that mass times 300,000,000 squared.

Einstein developed mathematical relationship between Energy, mass and the speed of light. But, he won the noble prize for his discovery of photo-electric effects, where he showed the relationship between electrical energy and photons.thank you.

In 1905 Einstein published his Special Theory of Relativity. In this theory he overturned the concept of Newtonian Motion, by saying that all motion is relative. It also states that nothing can travel faster than light,

So what does E=MC2 actually mean?

This is a big and important question that needs to be answered so you, the reader can understand why it is so important to science and the world in general.

A lot of people think wrongly that E=MC² just means Energy = Mass x Velocity². When in actually fact it means Energy = Mass x the speed of light²

During one of his eureka moments Einstein realized that Energy and Matter were just different forms of the same thing and each could be turned into the other.

Now lets take a closer look at the equation

E=The energy that can be created in Joules

M=The mass of atoms in kg.

C= the speed of light or 299,792,458 meters per second. (I've seen it rounded up to 300,000,000)

Lets look at an example

How about hydrogen which as we know is very explosive.

So say we take just 0.1kg of hydrogen atoms and times it by the speed of light squared we would see that the total energy that could be given out is.

0.1*299,792,458*299,792,458

=

8987551787368176.4 Joules.

This result is a large amount of energy but can all this energy be released?

Yes but only if the hydrogen atoms come into contact with their antimatter counterparts.Albert Einstein invented the light bulb, he famously tried 1000 times, failed and failed, and then he succeeded, so really he taught us to keep trying and not accept failure.

E=mc*c is the famous equation Eienstien discovered

it has got much importance in physics , this equation shows that matter can be transformed into energy

even if the mass is small the energy produced will be large

as per the equation the energy produced from the mass is multiplied by the square of the light velocity that around 3 lakh even if the mass is 1 gram the energy will be large
