The length of time it will take you to obtain a high school diploma has several determining factors. Some of these would be;
your local area education standards
the amount of high school credits already earned
how much time and effort you put into accomplishing your goal
My advice would be to check out attending an accredited, top quality online high school. Many of them are free depending what country, state, city you live in.
Here is a link to one such educational organization.
Since the GED is a test the real question is "How long will it take me to prepare for the GED Test". Most preparation courses take about 3 months and they do a good job preparing you for the test. As with anything that requires testing, you could be ready sooner or it could take you longer to accomplish this goal. Don't give up and you should realize that this important goal will be the first step in a huge life step.
Best of luck!
