My basement is, it's way overbuilt. So I suppose half my house would survive. Depends on the severity I suppose, my house has survived your average medium hurricane fare, but I'm not sure what would happen in a top class storm.

I know without a doubt my house would not withstand a twister. it was build about 40 years ago and i am sure they did not do a good job. Frame and brick will go down like a broken twig; and we would not remember what was standing there. No way this whold community how beautiful it is, will become a wreck for sure.

I'm out in Florida. Survived six hurricanes in 13 years. Only had to replace some shingles and rescreen the patio.
