    commitments. And 2. do you believe that the family and commitment to the church are integrated or separated?

    The objective of Christianity is salvation.  So, the order of salvation as far as your priority is 1) yourself, 2) your spouse and 3) your children.  You cannot further the progression of the others until you are doing all in your agency to ensure #1.  You will find that as you prosper in the priority you will find just how integated all three really are.

    True doctrine, understood, changes behavior more than teaching behavior will change behavior.  The commitment of family is first and foremost the priority.  The family is central to the great plan.  At the same time religion is supposed to advocate and strengthen the bonds of family.  Balance is possible and is there as long as you adhere to the priorities.
