    the scale factor can determine by dividing image length with object length.

    if image is large than object, the scale factor is more than 1.

    if image is smaller than object, the scale factor is less than 1.

    if image has same size to object, the scale factor is equal to 1.

    All you need to do is divide the length of the larger rectangle by the length of the smaller rectangle or divide the width of the larger rectangle by the width of the small rectangle. Both ways will give you the same scale factor if the two rectangles are similar.
