What's the weather where you are? I am in the middle of blizzard-ice storm. Hope the groundhog...
is right this year!
I just opened the doors to let the warmth in and turned off the air. We are in FL and it will eventually get to 80 today (very unusual for us on the Space Coast this time of year)...180 degree opposites!
I'm in high mountain desert in Central Oregon and yesterday was 30 degrees outside and sunny; today it's supposed to jump to 46, tomorrow to 56 and by Friday to 60. Crazy weather.
I'm disappointed we do NOT have snow or anything resembling white stuff - it's wintertime here but it feels like spring. My malamutes are not happy campers!
Stay warm!
I'm here in the Chicago. From my window, I watched the snow storm as it pasted over. It was amazing! So much snow was blowing from the garage roof-top, that it looked like a water fall made of snow, and created a snow drift up to about one foot from the top of the garage's roof top. Wow! I love nature!

Should naming storms be limited to hurricanes only? The Weather Channel has created a storm of controversy by naming storms other than hurricanes, such as yesterday's blizzard across New England dubbed "Nemo." The thinking is that naming major storms will help people track storms via...

I hear that 2-3 feet of snow will fall (or slam down), with winds of 60+ mph, like a winter hurricane. All of you be as safe and well prepared as possible. Best hopes and prayers are going forward for you. I remember the Blizzard of 1978 - 1979 in Ohio. Recently out of college, I was snowed in, dug...
