good question. i would love to see cloning used to bring back extinct species. imagine if we could bring back all the animals that human caused to go extinct.
Interesting question. The problem with cloning is the clone is never healthy. I don't know is you recall Dolly the Sheep. She was a clone and didn't live a normal life span due to illness as a result of being a clone.
As for saving endangered animals, if there are that few the gene pool may not be large enough.
