When the hemoglobin levels show a decline in the levels it means that the person has anemia. Anemia can make the person feel weak and look pale. it has many other health issues associated with it. you need to eat beet root and dates to increase your hemoglobin levels.
Decline of hemoglobin is due to the degradation of hemoglobin which is found in RBCs. This is may be due to sickle cell anemia in which there is a genetic mutation in beta chain of the hemoglobin causing the hemoglobin to miss-fold. This miss-folding of hemoglobin results in fibrous blade like structure of the hemoglobin which causes RBCs to collapse releasing the hemoglobin into the blood. This is the reason of decreased hemoglobin.
