The last digit of pi has yet to be determined. It may not possible to resolve the decimal, there are supercomputers in the daily act of further dividing the ratio with no end in sight.

Actually, there is no last digit to pi. This can and has been proved rigorously, and it is actually quite fascinating. So the answer to the question is an unfortunate "there is no last digit, it just goes on forever". For a little more info, see http://hubpages.com/hub/Understandingpi.
