What can I do as a son of a hoarder?
Well my mom is a mild hoarder. Every year she made around 5-6 tailor-made clothes and never actually give away some of her clothes accumulated 30 years ago. any advice? Some items like curtain set now have 4 sets and never actually use them.
Ask what her reasons for keeping all these things are. If she is defensive, just tell her that you're trying to tidy up. Maybe you could suggest that you could have a garage sale or sell some stuff online, because if you aren't going to do anything with all the stuff, you might as well make some money off it! Just be supportive, because sometimes hoarding can be an emotional problem. Hope this helps!
Hoarding is a deeply emotional problem. If it is a matter of her not giving up the product of her labor, then that is one thing. Perhaps a talk about why she keeps them and how she might sell them and be proud that her work not only earned money for the family, but allowed someone else to carry her work throughout the world, would relieve the problem. If she is hoarding ad nauseum, even items of no value to anyone, then perhaps it is time to hire a specialist or a psychologist, as it is more than likely the result of a traumatic psychological shift that could result in further detrimental hoarding for the rest of the family. In my opinion, however, so long as the collection of items do not impede the day-to-day routine of a human, than it is just a mess and could use some spring cleaning.
I understand the very personal and private nature of compulsive hoarding, and don’t want to push anyone into doing something they are not comfortable with. We are simply hoping that people will be willing to share their stories so that other compulsive hoarders will realize they aren’t alone and can get the help they need.

Why do hoarders seem to feel tired all the time?I have a number of friends and family who hoard stuff. I have noticed that every single one of them seems to be overly tired. Is there correlation or causation between hording and energy levels or is it a coincidence?

I love my son, sometimes I don't like who he seems to have become. Am I the only one? He's loud, bossy and unfriendly, someone I would never consider being friends with.I'm hoping this is only a stage, that he will outgrow it. Anyone?

I know that the holy trinity are all meant to be the same and one being. God is the father and the son and the holy spirit. But, taking into account, this was decided by a group of men hundreds of years after Jesus, what is everyone's opinion on this?If Jesus and God are the same? Why does Jesus...
