Put the following items together and that makes me unique: my name + my birthday + my social insurance number + the number of pairs of shoes I own + the second last home phone number I had + my favourite flavour of icecream + what I had for breakfast on February 29th, 2008.
Now let's say the universe is actually infinitely big.
I can bet there is one guy out there who is you then, since he has the same number of pairs of shoes, the same second last home phone number, and all the following.
What I want to know is what makes you more than any other occurence of YOU, physically speaking, than can and certainly do exist in our infinite time and space.
Take two indentical objects - it doesn't really matter what they are - place them side-by-side. Looking at them most people would argue that neither could be unique: because to be unique means that there can only be one - and here we have two. But then a scientist enters the room dragging in a trolley on which he has placed a scanning electron microscope. He carefully examines both objects with his apparatus. After much measuring - accompanied by a little head scratching - he triumphantly declares, 'Aha! these objects are not exactly identical. Ergo... they are, indeed, unique!' And so it is with everything. Take two of anything and place them side by side; they might look the same: but they are never, ever, exactly the same. When it comes to almost, infinitely complex organisms: like people, the chances of finding two exactly the same are well below absolute zero.
And even if we do have doppelgangers out there, somewhere, in the infinite Cosmos; there would still be dissimilarities: not least because they are out there and we are here.
On August 1, 1982 A.D. a Sunday morning GOD shown me in a vision the other side of death. I am alive and well on planet earth and get to live in total recall of the other side of death while living in my physical body before I die and crossover to the other side of death. Yes I do yearn to go over there but I have much work left to be done on the earth for the benefit of humanity. I carry this vision with great responsibility and humility as GOD'S will and ultimate purpose for my life is being done through my 3 hubs and answering questions on hubpages. I am humbled and grateful to have experienced this vision in my life on August 1, 1982 A.D. a Sunday morning. Glory to GOD.
