Termites taking over ...
anyone know how to get rid of termites ... called the termite control ppl but didn't work... any home fixes or something?
Termites are a real problem. You may want to try this recipe: Dissolve 2 cups of boric acid and 2 1/4 cups of Borax in 1 gallon of water. Add the mix to a pump sprayer, and spray the infested area. I have a hub on this topic, "Termite Treatments - The Homemade Way". I hope this helps.
When you say that termites are taking over, I'm not sure what this means. Termites will often swarm from surrounding yard areas in the Spring and you will see piles of them along house foundations, at the base of doors and around windows. This doesn't always mean they infesting your home. Professionals are best for eradication and usually guarantee their work. Trying it by yourself is usually ineffective. Good luck!
thanks guys... they're in the house and now kitchen cabinets/doorways are falling apart... will try what you suggested naima...

I just read an article about how people who play games, such as ones on Playstation are obsessed and spend hours trying to win and get to the next level. I think that it's a bit obsessive. Its the same with most technology, we can't leave the house without our phones or even sit through a lecture...
