Do you believe the big bang theory? Why or why not?

Do you believe this theory supports the existence of god? Do you think that this theory is supported by only Christian scientist, non-Christian scientist, or both? Why or why not?

The Big Bang Theory is supported by numerous astronomical observations and is the best explanation for the formation of the universe. Religious belief has nothing to do with it.

religious people i know don't believe in it or so they say. to me it makes sense and it is a lot more reasonable then some god creating us. it's also an awesome tv show.

I am open minded to all ideas but for me the big bang is the most realistic option.

At first the idea was not sported by the Church as it did not fit into the creation story, however over the years the Church has come to agree more and more with this idea.

This is a short article that I wrote a short time ago on the subject.

Big Bang theory is bunk. It was first proposed by Georges LemaƮtre (a Vatican priest) at the "British Association on the relation between the physical Universe and spirituality". Hm, I wonder if he had any biases at all?...
