Why do humans need clothes to keep warm but dogs don't?
Why do I need clothes to go out in winter, but my skinny, short haired pointer dog seems quite happy to go for a walk in the snow perfectly nude?
Because they already have coat, their fur. Even your dog has short hair, that is enough protection from cold weather. In fact, the first layer of fur(shortest) provide them the most protection.

How do you keep warm in a tent in cold weather? (whilst sleeping/resting)After all my years of camping, this still baffles me, and every night spent camping I lay cold in my sleeping bag until the morning, where I am still cold, any help?!
