Can someone think of an example of genuine question begging?
It annoys me when the phrase '...begs the question" is used in correctly, but I cannot think of an example off the top of my head of the proper usage. For those unaware question begging is a kind circularity. Any suggestions?
I think it's when something is understated in a conversation - more than likely a dialectical debate of some sort. I was reading an essay of Schopenhauer and can't remember right now, but there was a good example what you're talking about - sorry
