How did Native Americans choose names for their children?
It isn't a universal thing. Many tribes had their shamans decide the name of their babies upon birth, while other tribes would actually not give you your 'real' name until you proved yourself in some way. Remember that the only reason Indian names seem to be like "Raging Owl" is only because we never took the time to fully learn their language before taking over.

When most of the Americans are known by their country or region of origin, i.e. African Americans, Asian Americans, British Americans, Chinese American etc, I wonder are American Americans are in minority in America?
