    It definitely can.  People with little or no education often feel inferior because many people take their lack of education for a lack of intelligence.  Nothing could be further from the truth.  However, when these people are constantly treated as though they are mentally inferior, feelings of self-worth can be impacted.

    Some of the wisest people I know never had much of a school education; but, they were thinkers and learned from their surroundings.

    Yes. An individual who lacks the proper education is often perceived by their peers or society to be less intelligent, thus, that is more likely to take a heavy toll on ones self-esteem.

    On the opposite end of the spectrum, there are many people that made up for their lack of education by more or less overcompensating for what society tells them they should do.

    It goes without saying, there is no set path for sucess nowadays and though you can do many things without little education, society unfortunately will consider you inferior compared to others that obtained an education.
