The rotational kinetic energy of the earth is 2.137 X 10^29 Joules according to CRC's "Handbook of Chemistry and Physics", 83rd ed. It will be a little more if one calculates it based on the earth having uniform density.
My 2010 almanac has the United States producing a total of about 74 quadrillion BTUs( 74 X 10^15), which is 7.807 X 10^19 Joules; therefore, it would take all the energy we can produce in 2.737 billion years to match the energy that God created in order to get the earth to spin.
Total kinetic energy of the planets in our solar system is 1.99 X 10^35 Joules.
