Yes, if you want a good job with a great pay. If your in CA, many hiring manager are looking for those who has BA degree. AS degree considered average to most manager. But to some degree---depend on your major---isn't worth getting. My friend has BA in Counseling--he pay $70-100k to get his degree and to an end he get $10 an hour to work with at risk high school student---worse than those who doesn't hold a college degree but the good thing is he outpass every application to get that job. If you want to get in Nursing program, ADN-BSN would get you into the field faster with higher pay then all other average nurse. When your planning to go to college to pursue a college degree, you must do lots of research to assure that when your out of college, you gonna use it.

A degree may help you get a job, however the degree classification is worthless unless you have work experience in your subject. Therefore, many people with degree's are jobless.
