Can you measure 'determination' in an interview?
When you interview anyone or meet anyone for the first time, is there any way to measure that he/she is determined to work or be productive or reach certain goals?
Yes, but you should ask the right questions and look at someone's body language as well. There should be some kind of enthusiasm during an interview from which you could see that the person really wants to work at your company. The interview shouldn't be too short, because someone cannot act to be enthusiastic for more then twenty minutes.
